The Preparation
I spent a day at Bellcore's Lisle training facility with the technical staff and personnel from the Bellcore's Lisle television studio to creatd source material for this project Members of the Technical Staff were audio- and video-taped while performing the various installation procedures. in the construction of 3D models of hardware components document the process, Digital photographs were taken of the equipment. It was necessary to photograph all surfaces of components that would move or be manipulated in 3D space. These photos were used to create texture and bump maps to build realistic surfaces on the 3d models.
